Dogs

In recent years the number of requests by guests with dogs has increased significantly. We always had a separate section of the campground where dogs were allowed year-round until 2023. Because we experience that the vast majority of guests with dogs behave nicely, from October 1, 2023 it is allowed to bring your dog on your vacation at Camping Weltevreden the whole year and on the whole campsite. Of course there are guests who find this less pleasant, we are aware of that. But it is always a bit of give and take. We continue to actively steer this, but we also assume the guests' own responsibility. Stick to the rules and speak to people in a decent way if you see things going wrong. Additional measures have also been taken for the dogs and their owners. The previously announced dog shower actually should have been completed by now. This spring it will be at the top of the list. Dog poop bags are hanging in several places around the campground. 

These are the rules

• A maximum of 3 dogs are allowed per pitch. We make no exceptions to this.
• Dog(s) must be registered in advance.
• The cost is € 2.50 per dog per night. Dogs must always be on leash at the campsite.
• At the pitch the dog may be kept within a fence.
• Of course, the owner is always responsible for ensuring that the dog does not cause a nuisance to other guests. That means cleaning up the poop, and no noise disturbance.
• The same rules also apply to guests.
• Dogs are NOT allowed in our chalets, including dogs from guests.
